Strategic Cooperation Agreements Signed with GE and United Imaging

Partnering with equipment vendors to advance metabolic-MR equipment upgrades, tracer integration and clinical translation.

Biosotop has reached in-depth strategic cooperation intentions with global medical-technology leader GE HealthCare and domestic frontrunner United Imaging. The three parties will jointly build an ecosystem around the next frontier of molecular imaging — “MR metabolic imaging.”

Under the agreements, Biosotop will serve as the core molecular-probe supplier, seamlessly integrating with both vendors on the equipment and application sides. This lowers the threshold for hospitals to perform advanced metabolic imaging and charts a path for future “drug-device combination” commercialization.

Precision medicine increasingly demands metabolic-function assessment, while conventional PET-CT faces constraints in radioactivity, accessibility and cost. Safe, non-invasive stable-isotope MR metabolic imaging (DMI) is poised to capture a large share of this hundred-billion-yuan market. This strong alliance signals that the technology is on the eve of widespread clinical adoption.
